Join Us!

Thank you for your interest in AEGEE-Europe and its International Politics Working Group!

This page is designed to help you get access to the online members' services of AEGEE in order to join the IPWG. With your AEGEE membership card the process takes less than half an hour. If you have any difficulties in joining IPWG through the working groups portal, please contact us directly

Step one: AEGEE membership

You will need your AEGEE membership card, which you can get from the Secretary of your local antenna. If you are not yet a member of a local antenna you will need to join one. You can find a list of all antennae with contact details on the AEGEE website.

Step two: Online registration

This will take about ten minutes. With your membership card you can register online for an aegee.org account. There is a form which takes about ten minutes to fill in. This information is very valuable for AEGEE so please answer all questions! Thank you.

Step three: Join IPWG

This will take about ten minutes. Once you have completed the online registration form and received your password, you can log in to the working groups portal. Click the "log in" link near the top of the left hand column. Once you are logged in, select IPWG from the list on the left, then click "Join" underneath the description. There is another form to complete with more details about your interest in the IPWG and how you would like to participate

Step four: Send the form and wait

Once you have completed your application for IPWG membership (there are several pages), click the "send" button to pass the information to the IPWG board. Your membership will normally be confirmed within one week. While you are waiting, you might like to talk to other members or the board of your local about starting a local IPWG in your antenna.

Step five: Get Involved!

When the formalities are over, it is time to do something far more interesting! Get involved in the discussion, participate in events or help to organise them; start a local group or join the IPWG board. The group is yours to make the most of!
