AEGEE-Shkoder is a contact within the AEGEE network. It organises several events a year on local level, often in cooperation with order Albanian student NGO's.
Furthermore, during the summer of 2004 an unique crossborder hiking event was organised, and we hope to make it this summer again.
AEGEE-Shkoder is hosted by IRSH, to be translated as Young Intelectuals Hope, a NGO that thanks to its Alumni network does not only host students, but graduated intelectuals as well.
So you find in AEGEE Shkoder Albanian, English, French, Italian and German speaking members :-)
Shkoder itself is a city in the north of Albania, not far from the border with Montenegro, and Podgorica. Its surrounded by the lake of Shkodra on the west, and high mountains on the Nort and the East.
The city hosts a university with xxxx students.
