About us

Who we are? Visa Freedom is a working group of AEGEE-Europe, the European Students' Forum.

Why 'visa freedom'?

Once we had a dream of a borderless Europe. Visas have been one of the biggest borders in that dream, and even though many borders are now in ruins, the visa border is still alive... Quite often visa application procedures harm you morally and economically and only experiencing it gives a clue about visa being a border, a border for our freedom. 'Freedom of movement' is  one of the basic human rights and we want to support it.

Our vision is to provide the freedom of mobility for all students and youngsters in Europe. And our mission is to strive against VISA within Europe. To support AEGEE members with their visa issues and support AEGEE-Europe in its lobby against visa. 

We believe in a borderless Europe without visas! Because we want to travel from one country to another freely and without problems just when we want to sleep in our own beds after a rough party in the other country. Please, take this as a motivation and fight with us for those unlucky ones ;)
