Language skills are a necessity and a right for everyone \u2013 that is one of the
main messages of the European Day of Languages.
The overall objectives are to raise awareness of:
– Europe\u2019s rich linguistic and cultural diversity, which must be preserved and enhanced.
– Language learning and the need to diversify the range of languages that people learn.
– The importance to be fluent in at least two foreign languages, and to encourage lifelong language learning in and out of school.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
